On the modern machines dedicated to profile and creep-feed grinding for the turbine industry (microCut series), the modular column design allows configuration into cost-effective production cells, with special models whose spindle power reaches 52 kW. Wheel dressing can be carried out on the table with a roller dressing unit or by interpolating the infeed and cross axes, for high-precision applications as well as high-volume grinding.
