Feeler's VMX series has built a solid reputation in mould machining and mass production, thanks to its high-rigidity structure and high-speed, high-precision performance. Each machine features a high-speed direct-drive motor spindle, with a reinforced A-shaped column base, a ball screw driven directly by servomotor and a BBT40 spindle running at 12,000 rpm for superior rigidity, precision and performance in fast cutting. Models can be fitted with linear or hardened box ways depending on machining requirements. On configurations dedicated to mass production, the double-head (DVD) centres feature two spindles and two automatic tool changers to more than double productivity compared with an equivalent single-spindle configuration.
