A range of spindles for centreless, internal and face grinding

On the SUU grinding platform, the machine can be configured for single-operation, external, internal or face rib grinding, giving the user high-output production and consistent quality. On historic Lidköping centreless grinders, the grinding wheel (for example 508 mm outside diameter by 610 mm wide) and the regulating wheel (330 mm diameter) are combined with a CNC plunge feed motor with a resolution of 0.001 mm, driven by an industrial controller. On the UVAi range dedicated to internal cylindrical grinding of tubes, the CNC and very high precision versions (UVAi Twin) allow bores to be machined with excellent geometric accuracy and an optimal surface finish.
