Samputensili, whose machine tools and CLC business were taken over by the German EMAG group in February 2021 under the new EMAG SU entity, covers the entire gear manufacturing chain, from turning and rough cutting through to final tooth flank grinding. The range of hobbing machines (H series, models H80/140/200 and H250/300/400) is developed specifically for high-performance requirements in dry or oil cutting, up to 400 mm in diameter, and can cut spur or helical gears, ring gears and more.
A range of hob spindles and grinding wheel spindles for every manufacturing stage
TLDR: Samputensili machines use hob spindles for cutting (H series) and grinding wheel spindles for generating or profile grinding (G series), with configurations able to handle workpieces up to 550 mm long on the most productive grinders.
Samputensili H series hobbing machines use a horizontal hob spindle able to take every known type of hob (high-performance HSS or carbide), from dry cutting or cutting with coolant through to teeth that have undergone heat treatment. On G series grinders, such as the G 250 (today EMAG SU), a grinding wheel spindle allows cost-effective production of axle drive gears, gear wheels and shafts up to 550 mm in length, by generating grinding or profile grinding.
